2009 North-South Run Information

This run is open to all Ford commercial vehicles, regardless of year of manufacture, but the primary focus, as always is on the 1953 through 1956

F-100 models.

This year’s event if is being held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Luis Obispo, California. The Show-n-Shine, on Saturday will be set up in the

hotel parking lot, with participant parking being an area that will be blocked off specifically for the show. Each vehicle will have at least 1 ½ parking

spaces to park in. Parking will be laid out so that those wishing to do so may set up their lawn chairs, and E-Z Ups. Anyone trailering their truck to

the event, and staying at the Embassy Suites, will also have a designated space to park their trailer.

The hotel is located adjacent to a large shopping mall. The mall has a wide variety of stores to choose from, as well as providing a variety of eating

establishments.

Participants staying at Embassy Suites will have, included in the price of their rooms, a nightly “mangers reception” (happy hour), and a cook to

order breakfast each day. There’s also a swimming pool, full workout area with weights, treadmills, and exercise bikes available to anyone staying

at the hotel.

Embassy Suites will also provide hoses, buckets, towels, and space to wash your trucks on Friday for all participants.

As noted of the other side of this form, the cut off date for pre-registration is August 1, 2009 all applications received after that date will be processed,

but that entry’s packet, as well as people registering at the event will not include a T-Shirt. There will be T-Shirts available for purchase at the event.

Refunds for cancelled entries cannot be given to anyone cancelling after August 1, 2009.
